Google Maps only allows 25 destinations on a single route, so the map below is not exhaustive. These are not all the places I visited, they are just place markers. They were selected because they naturally made the map take the appropriate shape. And there were many stops and sidetracks along the way.
The original placeholder route was around 9,000 miles (146 driving hours). This slightly more accurate route is over 10,000 miles (169 driving hours). The truth was closer to 15,000 miles. I was gone for four months from the end of May to the end of September. With one exception, I never slept in the same place for more than three nights.
